Scope of application
Two-component epoxy adhesive Moment is a transparent plastic composition produced in two packages for further mixing. In repairs and construction, it is called universal: indeed, the product can be used for the following materials:
- metal;
- tree;
- ceramics;
- leather;
- porcelain;
- glass;
- faience;
- crystal;
- marble;
- brick;
- pearl;
- bone;
- gems.
The adhesive seam will be no less reliable when using Moment on surfaces made of various metal alloys, artificial and natural stone, concrete, fabric, and cork. From synthetic plastics, Moment perfectly glues rigid PVC, plexiglass, polystyrene, polyamide, polycarbonate. It is possible to combine both homogeneous and dissimilar surfaces - for example, ceramics with wood, leather with glass.
The product can quickly repair cracks, dents, and chips when repairing cars, furniture, household items and electronics. It is ideal not only for gluing, but also for sealing products. But there are still restrictions on the type of materials: Moment cannot be used on rubber, polyethylene, silicone, Teflon, polypropylene.
Super-epoxy transparent in a syringe
The release form of this glue is also mono-packaging with simultaneous supply of resin compound and hardener. The different diameters of the outlet nozzles of these two components ensure a dosed supply of components, which is important for proper mixing.
Reliable and durable bonding of almost any materials: glass, porcelain, earthenware, metals and their alloys, concrete, natural stone, crystal, fiberglass, cork, polycarbonate, polyamide, fabrics, as well as all their combinations. It does not glue only non-wettable materials such as Teflon or polypropylene, with which adhesion is impossible even after roughening the surfaces.
The optimal application option is to seal cracks, chips, and gaps after other adhesive materials.
Specifications
Adhesives of this series are often called “cold welding”. They provide very strong, permanent adhesion due to the presence of epoxy in the composition. The main technical parameters are:
- color - transparent when applied in a thin layer, does not turn yellow after drying;
- smell - no smell;
- conditions for application - humidity up to 65%, temperature +10...+30 degrees;
- heat resistance of the finished seam - up to +60 degrees under high load, up to +150 degrees without load;
- frost resistance of the seam - up to +30 degrees;
- primary hardening - in 20-40 seconds, curing - in 5 minutes, sufficient adhesion strength - 2 hours.
The description of the products in this line says that the adhesive joint is resistant to moisture and does not decompose under the influence of household chemicals, oils, alkalis and solvents. Cured glue can be painted, and any type of paint can be used. The glue does not expand after curing and does not shrink.
The advantages of using the series are as follows:
- ease of application - it is easy to measure the glue, it easily covers the base due to its plasticity;
- the ability to use the material several times - tightly closed packaging guarantees the safety of the product;
- resistance to mechanical stress - after hardening, the seam can be sanded, processed, polished, drilled, the structure of the formula will not be damaged;
- low price - for such a high-quality product you will have to pay no more than 120–200 rubles.
The disadvantages include the low elasticity of the connection, so it is advisable not to expose the joint to significant vibration or movement. The moment can be frozen; after defrosting, its properties remain the same.
Well-known epoxy adhesive brand Moment and its varieties
Recently, the Moment line of adhesives familiar to all of us, which was previously produced on the basis of BF-88 or BF-2, has been replenished with a model based on epoxy resins. Which was a logical addition to this universal family.
In fact, it is very convenient: in a specialized store, go to a stand with products of this brand and choose what you need at the moment, or purchase the entire family of adhesives at once, for different occasions and for different materials.
Get to know all the representatives of this line so that you have an idea of the variety of release forms, and so that you can plan a trip to the shopping center and purchase the glue you need in advance.
Moment Super-epoxy transparent
Reliably fastens any materials and their combinations. Does not shrink or expand once cured and can be painted, polished, sanded, drilled or milled. Oil- and water-resistant, resistant to solvents. The adhesive joint holds equally well when used both indoors and outdoors.
Gelatinization occurs 5 minutes after mixing component A with component B, so you need to act quickly, and for this you need to prepare the work front in advance.
The initial hardening occurs within an hour, after which light use of the glued parts is possible.
Complete polymerization, with formed polymer bonds, occurs a day after joining the parts with an adhesive seam.
It goes on sale in the form of a blister pack, the volume of components is 2 and 6 ml.
Moment Super-epoxy metal is designed specifically for bonding metals and their alloys. After final polymerization, it is not subject to compression or expansion. Oil- and water-resistant, does not react to accidental ingress of solvents into the environment.
It can reliably bond glass, porcelain, wood and other materials or combinations thereof, but its formula is mainly adapted to metals.
Application area:
- Metal heating pipes and metal water pipes.
- Quick connection and repair of metal machine parts if they do not experience extreme loads.
- Repair of crankcases and engine housings.
- It is not recommended for gluing containers in which food is stored or from which food is taken.
- Not suitable for joining polypropylene, polyethylene and Teflon.

Super-epoxy Formula 1
Original packaging in a monotube, divided inside into sealed cavities containing the resin compound and hardener.
Mixing of the components occurs at the moment the glue is supplied through two tubes isolated from each other at the very exit to the outside.
Thanks to the complex shape of the nozzles, the mixing is vortex and very reliable, without inhomogeneities, which ensures uniform hardening of the mixture. Used for external and internal work.
Gelatinization occurs within 2-3 minutes, and initial hardening, after which you can confidently use the glued product, occurs after 8 hours, at a temperature range of 20-25°C degrees.
Formula 1 finds various applications not related to repairing food utensils or gluing Teflon, polypropylene or polyethylene.
The release form is a blister in which a 14 ml syringe tube is sealed. Store the glue in a tightly screwed tube at a temperature of 10°C to 30°C degrees. Shelf life is one and a half years.
Super-Epoxy Formula 5
Super effective on contact with any material except those not recommended for epoxy: rubber, silicone, Teflon, polypropylene. Single-tube syringe with a mixer attachment for simultaneous supply of compound and hardener, packed in a sealed blister.
After polymerization, the adhesive is not subject to shrinkage or expansion, and is also not afraid of moisture, technical oil and active solvents.
Gelatinization occurs already in the 5th minute after the glue is applied to pre-treated surfaces, and after half a day the repaired products can be used.
Gluing dissimilar materials is allowed: porcelain, metals and their alloys, wood, paper, fabrics, etc. Packaging – a combined tube of 14 ml, sealed in a blister.
Moment-Epoxylin 2 in 1
Super strong connection of any materials, from metals to paper. It is a cylinder of putty in which, under the outer layer of a compound with filler, which can be of any color, there is a second isolated layer of hardener. When cutting off part of the cylinder and kneading the plasticine-like putty with wet hands, a thermochemical reaction of initial polymerization begins.
You will have about 5 minutes to apply the composition to the surfaces to be bonded, and after 10 minutes from the start of the reaction, the composition will initially harden, and it will no longer be possible to work with it further. Therefore, you need to be careful when separating the required portion and have time to do everything within 5 minutes.
After 70 minutes, the strength of the adhesive seam becomes sufficient for not very intensive use, or at least to remove a vice or clamp, and after 8 hours the glue reaches 50% of the declared strength.
Packaging: 48 gram cylinder, sealed in a blister card.
Epoxy-Mini 2 in 1
A version of Epoxilin, divided into 6 mini servings, ready to use.
It is the same two-component cylinders as in Epoxylin, only in the form of ready-made portions for gluing. They also need to be kneaded with wet fingers and quickly, before the expiration of 5 minutes, applied to the surfaces to be glued, previously degreased with alcohol or acetone.
Completely hardens in 10 minutes. After 70 minutes it gains sufficient density and hardness for external influence, and after 2 hours it gains 50% of the calculated hardness.
Super-Epoxylin Cold Welding
With this glue you can not only glue disparate parts, but also mold missing fragments of household products: a broken corner of a table, a missing fragment of a chair leg, a chipped piece of the ebonite handle of a kitchen knife or hatchet.
The required portion of epoxylin is cut off with a knife and kneaded with wet hands.
After the mashed composition becomes warm due to the thermochemical reaction that has begun, it is applied to the desired location and leveled, giving it the intended shape.
After complete hardening, which occurs after 10 hours, residual roughness can be removed by grinding, polishing or other types of mechanical action.
Glues any materials and their combinations, except those that are not amenable to wetting, and therefore adhesion, by adhesive components: polypropylene, Teflon, silicone, rubber, polyethylene. Available in a box with five 48 gram glue cylinders.
2 in 1 putty, similar in mechanism of action and release form to Super-Epoxylin, but designed specifically for metals. Contains metal shavings and dust, which promotes better adhesion to metal products.
The use of putty-glue is also similar to Super-Epoxylin. This glue can be used to both glue and sculpt surfaces, giving them any shape. After complete hardening, which occurs after 10 hours, the formed product or seam can be drilled, milled, painted, and generally perform actions with it similar to those that are possible with the material being glued.
Designed mainly for gluing and repairing metal products: iron, steel, including stainless steel, brass, copper, aluminum and its alloys, tin or lead. But it also glues porcelain, natural stone, wood, glass and their combinations just as well. Release form: 5 cylinders of 48 grams each in a cardboard package.
Moment-Epoxylin DUO
Universal adhesive for working with a wide variety of materials in the form of a plasticine-like two-component putty, for express gluing of parts made of wood, porcelain, earthenware, natural stone, glass and plexiglass, metals and their alloys, as well as for combinations of these materials.
Available in the form of cylinders with a neutral gray color, weighing 25 g, 2 pieces in a cardboard package.
When working with Momentm epoxy-based adhesives, follow all recommendations developed for these materials. In particular, try to remove drops of glue that protrude after compressing and fixing the parts to be glued with a swab moistened with acetone or ethanol. If you didn’t notice any drops of glue in time, clean them off with a scraper.
Regarding safety precautions, also follow the general rules for working with epoxy: room ventilation, eye and respiratory protection, rubber or silicone gloves on your hands.
Composition of the product
The series adhesives are presented in two packages. One bottle contains the following components: epoxy resin, modifiers, fillers. The second bottle contains a hardener for epoxy (based on polymercaptan) and modifiers. Usually a 6 ml portion is consumed at a time, but it can be divided if necessary.
Why do you need a two-pack release form? Epoxy resin cures only after the start of the chemical polymerization reaction, which is ensured by the introduction of a hardener. As the components are joined, a high-strength adhesive joint is created that is difficult to break and almost impossible to break. Some types of adhesives come with trays for mixing components.

Glue Epoxylin DUO * MOMENT 01/28/2011
At one point I was modeling all sorts of interesting things. And so it was necessary to combine two plastics, slightly different in composition. I thought Super Glue Moment would help me with this, but something didn’t stick. The seam was not sealed.
I read somewhere that cold welding can help, that is, in my case it turned out to be Epoxilin DUO.
Well, I actually read it, and decided to try to buy it, fortunately the price is not very high, if it doesn’t work out, it’s not a pity, and you don’t need the whole volume, so it will be left in reserve
Cold welding has always been interesting to me, especially the process of mixing two components, during which the mixture heats up in the hands. I don’t know about others, but in previous cases cold welding did not always help. We tried to cover the heating pipe with it, but there was still a hole somewhere. In my case, the plastics didn’t work out as planned either.
At first everything looked good, it even held up. But as soon as one of the glued parts warmed up to operating temperature, the connection fell apart. In general, in my case, epoxylin duo did not help. But the glue itself seems to be good; it will probably be suitable for simpler purposes.
Although I liked Epoxy Express Glue better among the epoxy options, somehow it grips surfaces better, probably due to its liquid state.

Moment Epoxylin DUO in the form of plasticine
Universal epoxy adhesive Moment Super Epoxylin DUO will provide you with super-strong bonding when working with almost any materials. It is a two-component composition in the form of gray plasticine. When mixed, the components react and quickly harden.
This composition can be used to connect surfaces, fill in missing elements (for example, a broken corner of a table), giving it any shape. Moment Super Epoxylin DUO does not expand or contract when curing and is resistant to water, oils and solvents. Can be used for both internal and external work.
Once cured, Moment Super Epoxylin DUO can be painted, polished and even drilled!
The glue hardens within 5 minutes after mixing the components. And after 15 minutes it gains quite high strength.
- Designed for gluing, sealing, repairing products made of various materials: all types of metal, ceramics, glass, fiberglass, wood, plastics, etc.
- Designed for gluing, sealing, repairing products made of various materials: all types of metal, ceramics, glass, fiberglass, wood, plastics, etc.
- Suitable for restoration of all types of building materials, tiles, marble, cement, stone, concrete, brick, natural and artificial stones, etc.
- Not suitable for polyethylene, polypropylene, Teflon.
- Not recommended for gluing dishes that come into contact with food.
When working with epoxy glue in the clay form, it is very important to remove excess glue before it hardens. If such a need arises, you can remove the epoxy using a clean rag, like regular plasticine. In this case, for better cleaning, you can use tanol or another solvent.
Cleaning Cured Epoxy
If you did not have time to remove excess uncured epoxy glue, the surface can still be cleaned. Of course, the task becomes an order of magnitude more difficult.
The only way to remove hardened epoxy glue is mechanically using a scraper or similar tool.
It is advisable to clean as soon as possible before the epoxy reaches maximum strength.

Epoxy glue Moment Epoxylin Mini 2 in 1
1. The surfaces to be glued must be dry and clean. To increase the adhesive strength of the surface, it is recommended to additionally clean it with sandpaper and degrease it with gasoline or acetone.
Before gluing, keep the materials at room temperature (+18°C to +25°C).
2. Wear latex or vinyl gloves
3. Remove one of the pads from the blister.
4. Remove the transparent film that is wrapped around the piece to be used.
5. Knead the piece as if it were plasticine until a homogeneous gray mass is obtained.
6. The maximum application time is 3 minutes after kneading (at 23ºC).
7. The putty should be applied before the glue begins to heat up. Heating indicates that the components are reacting with each other.
For gluing: apply putty to one of the surfaces to be joined and align both surfaces. To bond large surfaces, apply putty at several points.
To fill: Place the mixture into the crack or cavity and level the surface before the product begins to cure.
For repairs: use your hands to shape the material into the desired shape and level the surface before the product begins to cure.
Instructions for use
All gluing operations are carried out only with gloves. Glue that gets on your hands is difficult to remove; it hardens instantly and can also cause burns. No special knowledge or skills are required when using the product; the instructions for use are simple:
- Clean the surfaces to be bonded. For this purpose, use water, degreasers, paper, sandpaper and other convenient devices. Ultimately, there should be no dirt, dust or grease on the base.
- Cut off the tip of the nozzle of the syringe, mix hardener and resin in equal proportions. Usually the kit includes an attached container and a spatula for mixing.
- Apply the mixture to both surfaces for 3-5 minutes. After 5 minutes, the epoxy glue will be unusable. Press the parts and fix for 2 minutes.
- Leave the product for a day before active use. To improve the quality of the joint, do not move the parts within the specified time, otherwise the seam may turn out uneven. The joint can be sanded and polished after 8 hours.
- Excess glue that has come out must be removed immediately. Fresh glue stains can be removed with acetone; dried ones will have to be removed with difficulty mechanically.
Where can I apply glue?
Moment epoxy adhesive consists of two compounds, when mixed, a reaction occurs leading to the adhesion of the following materials: glass and crystal, earthenware and porcelain, wood, metal and its various alloys, brick. Stone, marble, leather and more.
The range of bonding materials is so wide that this adhesive composition is called universal.
Epoxy adhesive has proven itself well when gluing various metal alloys, concrete, and stone. Excellent bonding of plastic and its derivatives, organic glass, polyamide, polycarbonate.
And what is important is that it adheres well to materials of different chemical compositions: wood and glass, ceramics and leather, plastic and glass.
In addition to its adhesive functions, the Moment epoxy composition also serves as a sealant. You can repair cracks and chips on metal and alloys, as well as on wooden surfaces.
However, Moment is not omnipresent, there are limitations to its use:
- rubber
- Teflon
- silicone
Packaging, storage and safety
Products can only be glued with this product in a well-ventilated area. Contact with skin causes burns, allergies, irritation, and dermatitis. If it gets into your eyes, rinse them immediately and consult a doctor! Glue should not be used to join utensils that come into contact with food; it is also harmful to aquatic organisms.
During storage, the product should be kept away from children! It is necessary to avoid the release of residues into the environment, but it is permitted to dispose of Moment as household waste. Guaranteed shelf life is 36 months at a temperature of +5...+30 degrees. In case of freezing, it is recommended to keep the glue for a day at room temperature before use.
